What Causes Climate Change?

Climate change is mainly caused by greenhouse gas emissions that surround the Earth and begin to trap in the suns heat. Gases likes Carbon Dioxide, Methane, Nitrous Oxide, and Fluorinate gases are mainly found inside our atmosphere. But the reason behind these gases are due to human activity.

Oil Drilling

Drilling has been dated as far back to 1857 and we continue to do so.

Water Pollution

There is approximately 5.25 trillion pieces of platic and microplastics in our ocean. This number only continues to grow each day.

Loggers approximately cut down 3.5 to 7 billion trees each year. Places like the Amazon are being destroyed as more than 20% of the rainforest is already gone.

Deforestation
City with cars

There is approximately 5.25 trillion pieces of platic and microplastics in our ocean. This number only continues to grow each day.

More Causes

Other human activities that cause climate change are:

Farming livestock

Overfishing

Industrialization

Consumerism

The burning of fossil fuels: coal, gas, oil, etc.
